The Ellipsis writing group was set up as a follow-on from Dorothy Schwarz' inspirational 'Innovations' evening classes run from the Greyfriars Adult Community College in Colchester. Our first meeting was on 12th May 2005 at the Quaker Meeting House in Colchester, close to the famous Jumbo water tower and the Mercury theatre. Since then, we have met in the evening twice every month. The group is about half a dozen strong, and most of us have demanding full-time jobs, families, friends and lots of other major distractions from doing what's really important, i.e. writing stuff. If you find what you see interesting, do get in touch - one thing anyone who writes really likes is feedback from someone who has read their piece.
