Isn't it strange how when you start to list things about yourself they don't seem to add up to who you are. Fifty four year old grandmother who works in the education sector and lives in Colchester… no that's not nearly it! I'm a member of the rock generation for the goddess' sake! I'm also one of the original members of Ellipsis and I began writing when I was a child but have never given it time or space until the last couple of years. Joining Dot Schwarz's creative writing classes at Grey Friars was one of the best things I've done for myself for a long time. I'm just beginning to think of myself as a writer; I find the muse comes sometimes and not others and I'm learning just how much hard work is involved in getting words that satisfy me onto that lovely enticing blank page. Ellipsis keeps me working at it - and it's fun at the pub afterwards too!
